Dear Brothers and Sisters of Mt. Airy Presbyterian Church,
Ben Grotte, Scott McGregor, and I are embarking on a trip to Belize, Central America, from September 27th through October 4th, 2008. Our main purposes will be to share the Gospel with and bring food to Belizean citizens in needy neighborhoods and in prisons, share the Gospel with children in the schools, and encourage missionaries in their work in Belize, wherever God has placed them. Our hearts are drawn to the people there because the needs are great and the Lord has made them very receptive to His Word. We would be grateful for your prayers as we prepare and go in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Through previous trips, we have found several commodities to be very much appreciated by the Belizeans, and would gratefully accept donations of the following:
Short-sleeved polo shirts Baseball caps/hats Short-sleeved T-shirts School supplies Inexpensive flip-flops
